Day 282 Waiting for our miracle babies
Best news ever, my cervix is still in PERFECT shape! The Perinatologist who analyzed me said, "It looks like a brick." So, I have managed to escape full-time bed rest for at least 2 more weeks. Can we all give a collective sigh of relief here? Phew! The baby is measuring a little bit small, but development of all organs and everything looks right on track. And can I just say, I am so thankful every time I get to listen to that little heartbeat. If I could listen to it all day long, I would.
Ok, but I know that's not the real news you're all waiting for. But, unfortunately, I won't be telling you all if the baby is a boy or a girl today. Why? Because this silly child is apparently VERY shy! No matter how much the ultrasound tech jiggled my belly, the baby REFUSED to uncross his/her legs. Stubborn kid...
The new date to "wait for" is December 8th when the next ultrasound is scheduled. Sorry to keep you on pins and needles, but you'll have to talk to the baby about that one.

YES! Awesome. Your names are on the temple prayer rolls.
What wonderful news! Perfect gift for Thanksgiving and a true blessing to know you will be able to participate in all the fun Christmas stuff without having to worry about bed rest keeping you out of it. Just don't overdo it.
Sorry baby was shy. Soon. At this point you could probably just have the tech put the gender in a sealed envelope to open on Christmas day since it will be so close. What a great Christmas present. Honestly I would have to open that gift early though. :P
Silly child. But really the best news is that everything is going well and you don't have to go on bed rest yet.
Yay that everything is going so well!! I still can't believe your situation and what a miracle it all is! Sad that he or she is not cooperating! I really want to know!!!
I'm so happy to hear that everything is going so great. What a modest little one you have. :)
Glad to hear the real important news that you're doing well!!!
I am so glad everything is going well! Hurray for no bed rest yet!
We didn't have a shy baby this time, we had a baby that was more like "Woa, dude, get out of my business!" Every time the tech tried to take a measurement, it would move out of the way. Grace's convinced it's a girl. For her sake, I hope it is. We find out in less than 3 mos!
Great news. Happy for you.
